Dr. John Rule received his DVM degree from Kansas State University in 1970. He was employed and subsequently became a partner at a practice in Oberlin, KS. Eleven years later, Dr. Rule sold his half of the practice and moved to Steamboat Springs, where he purchased Mt. Werner Veterinary Hospital in 1981.
Dr. Rule enjoys many outdoor activities including fishing, boating, skiing, and snow-shoeing. He and his wife Carolyn also enjoy antique hunting and spending time with their three grown-up children and two grandchildren.
